ZooBoo transforms the Indianapolis Zoo into a family-friendly Halloween wonderland. Little ghouls and goblins can follow the trick-or-treat trail past decorated pumpkin displays, join the daily costume parade, and meet the zoo's "Not-So-Scary" animal ambassadors.
From 2 PM the zoo dims the music and lights for a calmer, sensory-friendly atmosphere, so even the littlest visitors can enjoy the season at their own pace.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get my tickets after buying?
Your e-tickets arrive by email within a couple of minutes of checkout. Show the barcode on your phone at the main gate — no printing needed.
Can I pick any date?
ZooBoo runs Wednesdays through Sundays until November 1. Your ticket is valid for the date you select at checkout; if you need a different date, contact us at least 48 hours ahead and we'll swap it free of charge.
Is ZooBoo scary for little kids?
Not at all — it's the "not-so-scary" kind of Halloween. From 2 PM the zoo keeps music and lights calmer, and the trick-or-treat trail is designed for ages 2–10.
What if it rains?
The event runs rain or shine. If the zoo cancels a date entirely, all ticket holders for that date are refunded automatically.
